Länsimaat toimittivat siis hyvissä ajoin tekniikkaa ja tietotaitoa Benghaziin.  750.000:lle Libyalaiselle saatiin toimivat langattomat puhelimet käyttöön.

Tripolissa puhelinverkko hakkeroitiin ja asukkaille lähetettiin viesti:
